One may wonder why this is so, as the Bbnaija franchise has been one of the most watched tv reality show in Africa
In fact, their highest viewership has always been from Nigeria
So One may wonder why Nigerians are angrily reacting to the show after it was announced
Well, that is because in February 2023, Nigerians will choose their next president
And many, including the youths are fully focused on the elections
With this coming show in January, many see it as a distraction from the general elections
In October, auditions for the reality show was opened and it lasted for over two weeks, October 6th – 22nd.
According to report making rounds on the micro blogging platform, Twitter, the reality show would launch January 15th, 2023.
