Afrobeats singer, Pepenazi who has been missing in the music scene has now emerged,
but no longer as an artiste but as a preacher of the gospel of Jesus
The Afrobeat singer who was spotted preaching in a video he shared on his Instastory, had hits which rocked Nigerian airwaves years ago.
He has also collaborated with Olamide, Reminisce and other Nigerian superstars.
Pepenazi entered the Nigerian music industry in 2012, when he released a rap single entitled “Arose”. Produced by Bam Tunes, following it with a video.
As a final-year student, however, Pepenazi took a break from the entertainment scene and entered the National Youth Service Corps;
Then He won the 2013 Airtel NYSC Lagos Camp Freestyle Competition.
He then appeared on two Olamide albums: Baddest Guy Ever Liveth (on “Motivation”, with Ice Prince and Endia)
and Street OT (on “Usain Bolt P”, with Lil Kesh and Chinko Ekun).
He also released two singles (“Born You” and “Low”) in October 2014, which received some airplay
It is however not clear why the singer switched from the music industry to becoming a Pastor.
