Sad news for the sports world as Physically challenged Ndidi Nwosu who aced at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio De Janeiro is dead.
Former President of the Nigeria Powerlifting Federation, Queen Uboh confirmed the death of the Paralymic games star.
Ndidi Nwosu who also won gold at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia, died in Owerri Imo state on March 1, 2020,
following complications arising from a lung infection.
Recall that the Gold medalist secured an injury during the 2018 commonwealth games in Australia, and after undergoing two surgeries, her health never remained the same again.
Ms Uboh disclosed that the husband of the late powerlifter, Ikechukwu Nwosu called her to convey the sad news of his wife’s demise.
