As the health world continue to find a permanent cure for the dreaded Coronavirus, Health specialists in Australia have listed Chloroquine as one of the drugs that could possibly be a cure to the virus.

The researchers at the University of Queensland Centre for Clinical Researcher believe two drugs may eradicate coronavirus entirely.

According to the researchers, the first drug is a medication used to suppress HIV, while the other is an anti-malaria treatment known as chloroquine.

According to the researchers, some patients the drugs were tested on have been responding quickly to the drugs.

Professor David Paterson, an infectious diseases physician Said that though this is not a lasting solution, they have launched a clinical trial on about 50 patients so as to monitor the progress.

The Coronavirus since it’s attack in January has infected close to 200,000 people with nearly 5,000 deaths.

The virus has lead to the closure of airports and have crippled many economy in the world.
