Apostle Suleiman Calls out Kano Governor over Dethronement of Sanusi Lamido

President of the Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Suleiman has reacted to the dethronement and Detaining of former Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido.

According to the clergy, speaking against one’s governor is not reason enough for the treatment the royal is receiving now.

Recall Emir Sanusi’s removal was confirmed on Monday March 9 by Secretary to Kano State Government, Usman Alhaji

who alleged that he (Sanusi) disrespected the lawful instructions from the office of the Governor and lawful authorities.

The Kano monarch was also accused of persistently refusing to attend official meetings and programmes organized by the government without any lawful justification.

Following the removal of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Governor Ganduje appointed one of the sons of late Emir of Kano, Ado Bayero, Aminu Ado Bayero as the 15th Fulani Emir of the state.

Speaking on the deposed Emir of Kano’s situation, Apostle Suleiman says that even though the Governor has the right to depose the Emir, the reasons for deposing him are totally hilarious and unfounded.

I can understand the dethronment of the former emir of kano.what I dont understand is the detention.over what?a governor has right to depose a traditional ruler but has no right to detain anyone who has not committed an offence.disrespecting a governor is not a criminal offence.
