The cast and crew of the popular TV series, “The Johnsons”, has organised a Night of Tributes in honour of the lead actress of the series, Ada Ameh.
The event, which held on Thursday August 18, 2022, at the Freedom Park, Lagos,
was moderated by comedian and actress, Lepacious Bose,
while the duo of Dan D’ Humourous and Senator livened up the occasion.
In his tribute to the late actress, veteran filmmaker, Zeb Ejiro, said, “I am so proud of her because God used me to give her the opportunity to be a star. Ada was such a wonderful person. At times, she would call me and ask me to send my account number. She would then send money and tell me to go and enjoy myself.”
A close friend of the actress and “The Johnsons”, co-star Charles Inojie, also eulogised her,
while debunking reports that everybody in her family had died.
Other celebrities at the event include Chinedu Ikedieze, Yaw, Jude Orhoha, African China, Tunji Shotimirin, Olumide Oworu and Joe Praize
Ada Ameh’s burial arrangements has already kicked off with a novelty match
and candlelight service performed in her honour on Friday, August 19, 2022,
This will follow another candlelight service in her home state, Benue, on Thursday, August 25.
On Friday, August 26, the movie star’s remains will be buried at her family’s property.
Late Ada Ameh passed away at the age of 48 on Sunday July 17th.
