Leader of the Catholic Nation, Pope Francis has tested Negative to the very dreaded Coronavirus.

Recall that the clergy fell ill last week, after praying for Coronavirus patients during Ash wednesday service.

There were fears regarding the pope’s health, after it was reported that he prayed for coronavirus victims, without masks, and even went ahead to kiss their hands as well.

Pope Francis had similar symptoms as those of the virus, such as cold, cough, head ache and sore throat. And this lead to him cancelling several masses that were supposed to hold.

According to an Italian newspaper, after the swab test, the result came back negative.

The death toll from Italy’s coronavirus outbreak has risen to 52,

as the number of confirmed cases in Europe’s worst affected country climbed past the 2,000 mark.
